Wednesday

Bright and sunny, but already very windy

Almost missed SCIII leaving for Scilly - sadly the Easterly wind has got much worse during the day - Gwennap Head showing a gusts of over 60mph and the decision was made that the conditions for arriving back at Lighthouse Pier would be very difficult so she has stayed over on Scilly. SCIII will leave St. Mary's at around 10pm and return to Penzance where she will load up with passengers - unfortunately since it should have been a double trip day one sailing will be delayed until Friday when she will do a double sailing. Very difficult and disappointing for lots of people on such an important weekend for the Islands
Quite a number of dark clouds came over - but still no rain
Distant shot of Majestic Princess heading for Cobh
Tess with her ball in her mouth as always

Looks like we really might get some welcome rain tonight - but not much!
