Friday

Cloudy first thing
Jim asked the Council strimming team why they had not strimmed through the spoil heap as it's really grown since they did it before - they said that area is only a "once a year" on their instructions - pity, as there's lots of spikey and sharp bits there already. They did actually come and strim along our part of the path - which didn't need doing and happily strimmed a couple of young Echiums Hmm!

One of the upgraded King air Avengers now flying from RNAS Culdrose

Surf School were in today.  We both got on with our jobs - Jim mended the fence and then set about mowing the field where the dreaded Spotted Medic was growing fast. I got on with the gardening - well at least tidying it up as best I can!

Later on SCIII returning from Scilly on her early Friday schedule
More than half the field done - all 4 of the big batteries used. It had got really rather hot again so we just went to the field

Not sure what Maisie has spotted
Really very pleasant out there
