Having see another of these replica ships go past and head for Padstow I was amazed to see this one Nao Victoria arriving in the bay heading for Penzance from France. She is alongside in the wet dock

The strong Southerly stream of air has brought in lots of Painted Lady Butterflies - they breed in North Africa
We had both been working hard all day - me on Pressure washing the slabs outside the front of the house (until the pressure washer gave up!) And Jim weeding and then mowing then lawn. Just a few circuits of the field for the dogs

There were at least five Painted Ladies fluttering around in the wind on the drive - this was a lovely fresh one
