Monday

Another hot and very windy night and still really windy this morning

Still just about standing up and flowering - Jim saw a Hummingbird Hawk moth on it today

Plenty of wind for this trip as she heads off into the white caps
Merlin HM2 - Crows Nest
Half the lawn was growing and getting long - the rest get's more sun and is too dry to mow. I decided it needed mowing and it didn't take long
Sadly very hazy conditions as I spotted the new Isles of Scilly Goods Vessel Menawethan heading out on her first proper delivery trip to Scilly
Jim's camera let him down, but you can just about make out a Hummingbird Hawk Moth enjoying the Valerian

Heard a loud rumbling that we've been hearing a lot of since Mr Trump went to war - KC-135 Strato tanker - first one I've managed to get a photo of
Maisie wearing a nice cool neckerchief as it was still rather hot and the wind had dropped a lot.
