Saturday

Sorry no photos - after all the excitement of Storm Austen, today turned out to be much worse here in West Cornwall.

Lots of people in the area are still without power and to make matters worse it rained all day until around 5pm and the wind has been gusting over 70mph out at Gwennap Head. I went to Morrison's and it was horrendous trying to walk in the wind and torrential rain. Jim took Maisie to the field a couple of times when the rain lessened to drizzle briefly. Do hope everyone gets their power back soon, and thankyou to the teams of workers out in this terrible weather trying to sort it all out.
