Sunday

Lots of overnight rain and it was still raining this morning - but the hardy British holidaymaker is not deterred
The sea was really noisy and the waves were rolling onto the beach
The main area of rain eventually passed and Jim took the dogs up the hill
 Quite a wild sea
After a nice long period of sunshine clouds came racing over the bay again
Waves were riding up Cudden Point
Nice patch of sunlight on the angry sea
When you're  staying at the top of a hill and it's really windy a Kite seems like a good idea !
Quite a few people taking advantage of the dry weather this afternoon
We walked the dogs up towards  Ednovean this afternoon
Felt quite sad for this lovely Chicory growing up through the barbed wire
The plants in the old bulb field are evidently Organic Cauliflowers
I popped in to see the visitors at Oamaru as they were the first visitors we had last year - hope we get lots more returning next year !  Whilst I was there Jim took some photos of the fast moving clouds over The Bay
The clouds were fast covering the blue sky
By the time I joined him it was looking rather grim

 Very dramatic sky
Saying Hello to some of the Skewes dogs
As I walked along the path below the garden I spotted this naughty Day Lilly that had managed to squeeze through the wind fence
