In search of the Fryderyk Chopin ! !

After having spotted that the tug Independence was sheltering near Porthleven we drove over there - assuming that she had been towing the STS Fryderyk Chopin. When we arrived we discovered only the tug and have now discovered that she was in fact only escorting the Fishing Vessel Nova Spero which had continued to tow the stricken sailing barque. She is now approaching Falmouth after having to drop her speed to 1knot at times overnight due to the horrendous conditions. Since it appears she will arrive in Falmouth in the dark it has been decided to let the youngsters spend the night on board and disembark in the morning light.
