Goodbye old friend !

Sadly the time had come to say our goodbyes to Charlie Pointer today, he was really beginning to struggle to stand as his back legs had suddenly got much weaker.
I did not realise it at the time, but this was the last photograph I took of him with the new generation of Mason Pointers by his side. We will miss his gentle, good natured presence in the house for a long time and can only hope that little Wooster turns out to have the same good traits.

  1. Very sorry to read of Charlie's passing. It's so hard to lose special friends. At least Charlie had some time to show Wooster the ropes.

I'm so sorry to hear that Charlie has passed on. Hopefully Tilly and Wooster, will be able to provide you with some comfort. It's always hard to say good-bye as they become part of the family. With much Scottish love, Susan x

Looks like Wooster got the nod from Charlie.
