Just found this piece from one of the crew on board the Stavros S Niarchos when they came into Mount's Bay on April 12th
"And it was a lovely 4 hours anchorage for us too! (Possibly me up on the focsle. We had an iPhone streaming live to the web and the young people were invited to call their parents/friends and point them to http://www.westburybaptist.org.uk/tallships to see them wave!
Shame it rained on our BBQ. We hadn't had any sails up all the way along the South coast and the forecast was for the wind to veer as we rounded Land's End and increase to Force 7 on our nose all the way up to the Bristol Channel. Luckily I think it backed as we turned the corner round so we managed to get 12 hours of sailing in on Friday."

Peace, David

Many thanks for sharing some of your experience with us David, So pleased that you managed 12 hours of sailing on Friday - that's what you really want on a ship like that.  I notice that the ship is at anchor off Douglas, Isle of Man and you're due in Liverpool tomorrow.
