PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

We had several visits from this rather vicious looking USAF F15 Eagle  - Jim took this super shot from up at Trebarvah where he had a better camera - better angle and no big tree in front of him !
I gather that they are normally stationed at  RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk
This was it approaching
as it banked round to power off towards Penzance - the noise was unbelievable
On a another pass Jim got this one and you can even see the plane number

      Hi, Internet search - first find which plane it is - could see it was a fighter plane - then you can search where they come from - might have been on a visit to a different RAF base closer to us - although at the speed they fly, Suffolk is only a few minutes away ! I would love to know what they were doing here - not used to noise like that - just the Hawks & helicopters from Culdrose ! Sue

    Slam 11 flight , they were general hadling at medium level ,then dropped down to low level 600ft to do a coastal tour around LandsEnd and across Mounts Bay . Fab photos .
