Slightly unusual view of this Meadow Brown that landed on some bracken right along side me
Lots of furry Thistle parachutes all ready to go in the next good breeze

  1. Loved the hydrangeas and all of the lovely panoramas.
It's been pretty busy around here lately. I've been running grandma's taxi taking the girls to school and picking up after. Also to basketball practice after school today (Thursday). Baby Luke is growing. Has been sleeping pretty well at night, but a bit unsettled during the daytime. Takes a while to get a routine going.
Hope you are enjoying the Olympics. Seems like the weather has been reasonably good in London. GB are going well. We have started to win a few more gold in recent days. Looking at your Met report looks like you are in for a few nice days:)

    1. You are busy Betty, so pleased that Luke is doing well. Saw your Sally Pearson win gold in the 110m hurdles last night - always good to beat USA and Jamaica - don't think we will have many Athletics medals, but still the home advantage of having a huge crowd screaming for you seems to help ! - should do we'll be paying for it all for years to come ! Hope the closing ceremony isn't too embarrassing - all the athletes and some fireworks would do nicely ! Sue
