DeleteGreat for Newlyn/Penzance ro have a success like an Olympic Gold - so much is doom & gloom down here. Have always meant to walk along to Newlyn and try a Jelbert's ice cream - now I must ! Sue
I'm off to Eton Dorney tomorrow. Let's hope we get some more medals. Well done Newlyn for celebrating the gold.

It has looked and sounded quite amazing there as the rowers approach. Do hope there are more medals.
DeleteI think that The Post Office is painting a Post Box gold in each home town of every Gold Medal Winner - that should keep them busy - hope they don't start to get tatty too quickly.
Have a great day ! Sue
Sue! Fancy never having a Jelbert's ice cream! Well, I can't talk - only had one! Delicious. Yes, OH is feeling transformed. Will be glad to get back to driving again tomorrow, as he has had to have a week off - DVLA orders. Ann x
