  1. I need to ask about the Cauliflowers, why do the pick them when they are so small, is that the fault of the supermarkets. I have seen them in many supermarkets and they are very small, OK not expensive. Are they a type that don`t grow large???
I am at a loss here, I would have thought they should be bigger than they are.

    1. I think the Caulis I've seen them cutting around here are nice and big Heiko - I'll keep an eye on them - they don't have any "flowers" at the moment - I've checked ! I know that the marked ones that the pickers throw away are nice and big - and taste great with white sauce, Lamb Shank and new potatoes.
The Spring Greens that the farmer sowed in the fields close to us are looking very sad -don't think he'll make money out of them. Sue

    1. Mount's Bay probably has over 1 million Cauliflowers growing at the moment - just hope they keep growing well and do better than most of the Summer crops. It's a super place to visit - and to live !
