Beautiful bird but raids the nests in spring...we get several in our garden here in norfolk...I go on "jay watch"!..they also plant acorns in the plant pots!...thought about planting an oak wood but the garden isn't large enough!lovely pictures again.
ReplyDeleteSuppose they behave like the others in the Corvid family - strangely our three trees & hedges are full of nesting birds, but the Crows don't seem to raid so close to home ! We have loads of baby Chaffinches, Tits, Robins etc and Crowlets as well ! They seem to live together ! We had two huge old Oak Trees in our Leics. garden - the Squirrels used to go bonkers gathering them in. Sue
