The forecast heavy rain arrived overnight, but we awoke to find it had more or less stopped. I checked the met office website and found that we were just in a lull and a lot more was to come, so I dashed up to Trebarvah and back with the dogs in just a light drizzle and we just made it back before the really heavy stuff arrived again.  We then set off to do some shopping - as we drove up the lane brown water was pouring off the fields and down the road.

By the time we came out of Morrisons, the rain had stopped, so we headed towards Marazion to take a few shots
Love to zoom in on this lovely tranquil looking spot over on The Mount
Must have really needed that hat today !

  1. That looks like a lovely spot on St.Michael's Mount. Are the public allowed to look around the gardens?
You certainly get lots of exercise with the dogs and the views you see on your walks are wonderful!
    Enjoy the week-end,
    Betty

    1. The public (except dogs !) are positively encouraged to visit Betty, it is National Trust owned now, but run by the St Aubyn Family.
You can walk parts of the grounds (I think and the Castle) Limited openings in the Winter, but should be every day by May, so one to put on your list ! http://www.stmichaelsmount.co.uk/
