Godolphin Woods

Since it was such a grey & cold day, we then drove to Godolphin Woods as it's a treat for the dogs and a bit warmer for us !
Hopefully the beautiful Ferns will soon send up some new leaves - they lasted until the floods in the woods around Christmastime.
The Wild Honysuckle that weaves its way through many plants in the woods is sprouting nicely with lovely pale green leaves.
and in the shelter of the wood the Gorse was looking lovely and bright
