A sure sign of a really bad weather forecast - the more sheltered Eastern side of Mount's Bay is looking rather packed with vessels taking shelter. By tthis morning there are 10 vessels out there.
A little bit of snow over on the Penwith Moors, but nothing here at the moment. Strong NE wind which means we get a bit of shelter from the hills behind us.

  1. Hello Sue,

I hope you are surviving the cold weather. Currently it is blizzard conditions in Livingston. Doesn't bode well as it snowed the last week I was on holiday too. We're down at the end of August, so keep your fingers crossed for warmer weather. I hope you've managed to get out and get your car!

    1. Hi Susan,
Pleased you got back from Aberdeen safely !
Sounds pretty grim up there, no snow at all here so far - Channel Islands have had a terrible day as the snow clouds seemed to just stay overhead. We had just a few little bits early this morning, but it was just very cold when we went to Helston for Hetty the Yeti ! Took far longer that we thought as there's so many knobs & switches these days - as I was driving home there was a ping and I was a bit worried - but then I looked down and there was a message on the screen saying refuel please 50miles of fuel left - so I did what I was told !
We'll try to order you some lovely weather this year !
In 2014 end of August/early September there will be Tall Ships in Falmouth again - stunning sight to see !
