A sure sign of a really bad weather forecast - the more sheltered Eastern side of Mount's Bay is looking rather packed with vessels taking shelter. By tthis morning there are 10 vessels out there.
A little bit of snow over on the Penwith Moors, but nothing here at the moment. Strong NE wind which means we get a bit of shelter from the hills behind us.
Hello Sue,
ReplyDeleteI hope you are surviving the cold weather. Currently it is blizzard conditions in Livingston. Doesn't bode well as it snowed the last week I was on holiday too. We're down at the end of August, so keep your fingers crossed for warmer weather. I hope you've managed to get out and get your car!
Hi Susan,
DeletePleased you got back from Aberdeen safely !
Sounds pretty grim up there, no snow at all here so far - Channel Islands have had a terrible day as the snow clouds seemed to just stay overhead. We had just a few little bits early this morning, but it was just very cold when we went to Helston for Hetty the Yeti ! Took far longer that we thought as there's so many knobs & switches these days - as I was driving home there was a ping and I was a bit worried - but then I looked down and there was a message on the screen saying refuel please 50miles of fuel left - so I did what I was told !
We'll try to order you some lovely weather this year !
In 2014 end of August/early September there will be Tall Ships in Falmouth again - stunning sight to see !
