Yet another cold and misty day. (at least I'm not walking through snow drifts !) I walked the dogs up the hill as it's not too windy until you get to the top !
Took a couple of photos as I walked back down towards home
Through the gap in the hedge that Jim cut back, leaving a nice view of the village & Church
I took a photo through that hedge last time we were there. It frames the village beautifully. Thank you Jim for cutting it.

It was really dragging along our jackets and he'd had enough ! It's a lovely view as you walk down the hill - won't be long before you see it for real ! Sue
DeleteIt really is a lovely view...hope to see it in June ! I have just read that St.Michaels Mount is to be featured on Countryfile next week.Bitterly cold again, the washing froze on the line!macca.
ReplyDeleteHeard a runour that they might be filming the small dairy down at Trenow where the Whitbred Shorthorns are milked.
DeleteHope the clothes have de-frosted before you have to wear them ! - Sorry shouldn't joke - it was around 5C here today, but again the Easterly wind made it feel worse - not quite bad enough for the silly fur hat though !
I'm sure it will feel warmer in June ! Sue
Thanks for the heads up about Countryfile next week Macca. We'll enjoy it from the comfort of a snowy Livingston and yearn for a warm Perranuthnoe. It's bitterly cold when you're walking into the wind. Our Sunday constitutional was rewarded by seeing two buzzards today!
ReplyDeleteLooking at the photos on the internet, the snow looks just horrendous, we haven't seen it like that for many years.
DeleteAlways nice to see Buzzards soaring above, we haven't seen our "special" pale one for a couple of weeks.
Looked on the Sky EPG and it says that next weeks Countryfile, is a "compilation of pieces about the beginning of Spring" coming from St Michael's Mount.
Three weeks four days and counting!
