"Hangmans" rock , happy memories of a week's camping on Bryher in my teacher days . M
ReplyDeleteMeant to mention Hangman's Rock then forgot- such a super view - hope to eventually get "Off Island" before the holiday is over !
DeleteYour photos have sparked an interest in visiting the Scillies. Before I just thought it was Cornwall in miniature, so why bother, but now I am intrigued by the islands' proximity to each other, the archaeological remains and the sand bars.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased that you like the look of Scilly - it has so much more to offer than just boating & beaching ! Time to plan your next trip to Cornwall and to include Scilly !
DeleteWe love this view too ! Looks as though you have had mixed weather but some lovely sunshine too.Doesn't the time 'whizz' by over there ? Next Friday we shall be there ! better go and do some packing !! we come on the train Tuesday morning !Do hope we manage that coffee macca.
ReplyDeleteHard to believe that we've been here a week tomorrow ! still not been off island - conditions too "lumpy" or too wet like today - really bad as you've probably seen on the forecast - towels, waterproofs and dog coats all hanging to dry - hopefully a bit better tomorrow.
DeleteHope everything fits into the case(s) and have a good trip down ! Sue
