Our Castle tour

We were surprised to find that not only were the dogs allowed in the gardens, they were allowed into the castle - since it has been stripped back to bare floors & walls. I was a little worried about them managing all the stone stairs - but they were great and took the whole experience in their stride
We were with a rather large group as we went into the Castle - and it was difficult to take photos, on the first floor was this model of what it is thought the original Castle looked like
Of which only the one tower remains - probably lots of the cottages and barns in Praa Sands were built from the stone and it started to fall into disrepair
Well ! you just have to take a photo - it's the "privy" - at least it had a little window !
