Nice and sunny and much calmer Mousehole this morning
One by one the fishing vessels came out of Newlyn after having come in before the storm. Here the Rouse Crabber Intuition is heading out of Mount's Bay
Whilst I was out on the balcony I spotted several little birds on the Cedar Tree and tried to get some shots
Couldn't see what it was until I looked at the photos on the computer - it's a Goldcrest
Only ever seen one before
Scillonian III on her way across Mount's Bay after sheltering for a couple of days in Falmouth
approaching Mousehole in lovely sunshine
Sue,
ReplyDeleteGo with Goldcrest, we had one in the garden a couple of months back and Wendy, confirmed that it was.
Susan
Wasn't sure as they are very similar - just found a better picture in a different book, so Goldcrest it is !
DeleteReally getting windy again here - with some rain as well - lovely !
How lovely ! years ago when the children were small we had a little family of Goldcrests in the garden.....one of those magical moments !! lovely day here but it was 4 degrees at 7am !! lovely pictures......as usual !!! thanks Sue.macca.
ReplyDeleteI was thrilled to see the little Goldcrests - we normally just see the same birds all the time - mainly finches and of course the Starlings.
DeleteFelt much colder here today - not that cold though ! It's a pity as it's half term and quite busy, but the forecast isn't good and more wind as well !
