Went down into the village with some envelopes for the calendars and called in at the beach - sadly all the surfers had gone and the sky seemed to be very low above my head

Quite a strange effect - a prelude to more bad weather I suspect.

The wind got much worse during the afternoon and it rained on & off, so Jim just took the dogs up the hill during a lull.
