The outer Harbour full of foam (spume)
Local Coastguards making sure all the sea-watchers stay safe !
Cormorant washing and preening
I popped into The Brew House for a lovely cup of coffee - they sell Origins Coffee - all sorts of exotic names  http://www.origincoffee.co.uk/the-brew-house.php

  1. Fantastic shots, Sue! Wonderful to watch the strength of those waves bashing against the rocks. I wonder how much coastline has been worn away by those huge waves. I noticed there are reinforced cliffs close to the terraced homes.
Glad to hear you were not affected too much at your place. Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos.

    1. Porthleven has had a massive new sea wall built to protect the homes above - it wasn't there when we used to stay there and lots were being washed away - as was the road leading to Loe Bar. Could have stood there all day watching the waves, pleased that you enjoyed them. Sue
