    1. It was I think Betty as bad as anyone (local) can remember it ! The wind just went on and on, lots of branches off trees lying around - sadly the little palm gave up and is now leaning on the fence again. Been out taking some "wild sea" photos Sue

  2. Please post more pictures! I'm especially interested in how the cliffs behind the beach have fared in the storm, and the little cafe near the beach, and, of course, our beloved little rental Towan Cottage. Would love to hear and see more.

    1. Hi Joan, think I've just done that ! - The tide was in, but I've posted a shot of the cliffs.
Called in at The Cabin for a coffee and as I walked past Towan Cottage all looked fine.
The Cabin staff had turned the tables over, which meant that they didn't get blown around - garden is a bit wet and muddy at the moment as could be expected. I think Perranuthnoe has got off relatively lightly compared to other places along the coast - yes we've probably lost a bit of cliff, but the ramp & steps look fine and I'm sure the sand will be back after a period of calmer weather - it's amazing how quickly it can do that. Sue
