We then walked along the path that leads along the ridge to the Nine Maidens standing stones
As we walked along, the view down into Mount's Bay was quite spectacular
Seems to be more than Nine Maidens to me -
and they've had a rough time recently as the cattle that graze around them at times like to use them as scratching poles
The path down from The Maidens has always been rather steep and tricky, but the Winter rains have made some parts even worse. At the bottom we stopped for a cup of tea and a biscuit.
We then turned and took the track that leads back to the car, with Greenburrow way off above us to the left
Some lovely patches of Field Scabious
Wooster trying to persuade us to go over the stile that leads to MĂȘn-An-Tol and do the whole circuit again !
