Friday - I've had better days !

Photo of my injured hand to explain why there's fewer words tonight.  Had an accident with the loft ladder and managed to make a nasty hole in my hand between thumb and forefinger.  Went down to West Cornwall Hospital. Urgent Care Unit - had it washed out to clean it up and 4 or 5 stitches. Not easy to type as I'm supposed to be resting it.
Dramatic sunrise

Morning moon !

Bitterly cold day but the Osteospermums  were still flowering

Was worried for Tilly in the bitterly cold wind, so she borrowed Wooster's jumper on top of her own

Threatening colours
Surprised this Kestrel just as it was swooping on a Finch - missed it

Wooster in the wind on the point

Seal watching the surfers
Lots of sand washed out again
Yummy delivery at The Victoria Inn

I went off to Hospital and Nick and Jim took the dogs out

Sadly no colour again
Just a little tree in the hall in front of three of the six new blinds. The curve of the window has been a real pain ever since we arrived. Bought the bigger tree for outside on the balcony, but that will have to wait for its lights

    1. I spared you the photo of the hole in my hand - was rather dramatic - poster the photo on facebook - it had stopped bleeding, but was ordered to go to Urgent Care by everyone - many who were nurses etc. so off I went - we're lucky to have it in Pz - Don't do everything - if it's a break you have to go all the way to Truro. Tilly is doing well, but showing her age more and more. Sue

    1. Hand not too bad just sore and bruised with 4 stitches - bandage got wet (even with a glove on) whilst I was getting ready to go out to the Perranuthnoe village Christmas dinner at the Victoria, so had to remove it and put a plaster on - not an easy shape bu seems OK. Super dinner in good company. Sadly it rained for the walk there and back. So pleased it isn't so cold here - the reason we moved down here, but feel for those with deep snow. Sue
