Sunday

No snow here, but a really wild morning with gusts of wind over 70mph
Tilly double jumpered again

Back home before the rain shower arrived
Afternoon walkies
Really grey and a shower cloud approaching faster than we were expecting

All of a sudden there was a massive commotion down in Boat Cove - two birds really having a go at one another and all the others down on the cove sounding the alarm
Rain came across the Bay really fast
Just after this shot the rain/hail arrived and we were blown around the Point

I took the camera out for a last shot of the angry sea
Jim requested his favourite lights to go in the Porch - they're getting really old now - see I've got a break in the netting to mend

  1. Yes , a wild day here as well, you were brave going on the coastal path in that gale. Your porch lights looking great , I can see why they are the man of the house favourite. Thank you so much for the storm photos.

    1. Think Jim likes the porch lights because he can see them from the kitchen. More wind later in the week - but not as strong. Sue

  2. How is your hand now? I have been away for several days and having caught up with your posts, see you have injured yourself! Must have been painful. How are you managing to take photos, type and eat?! I guess Jim is helping you with your meals.
Enjoyed more sunrise photos over Trebarvah, some unusual and beautiful skies. Looks like you have been blown around a bit there!
    Stay safe. Betty

    1. My hand is a lot better thanks Betty - it was rather dramatic looking as it went into the flesh for over 1" but once stitched and kept dry it's doing well. Just don't have the my usual grip as it's painful with the stitches in - booked the appointment to have them removed on Thursday - think that will be painful Jim only had to cut up my steak the first night - been fine since then. Just a problem to keep it dry. Hope we get some more sunrise's I love to see them and I'm not usually up early enough. Sue
