Monday - New Years Day

The first and as it turned out last shower of the day, leaving behind lots of lovely sunshine
To avoid the Churchway footpath we walked the dogs down St Piran's Way - such a lovely view from the top of the slope
Past this amazing  Erica Maderensis ?  in full bloom
Another Winter flowering Camellia
Still windy as we reached Boat Cove Lane

Wind was getting wilder and lots more whitecaps

89 metre cargo vessel Hav Zander arriving in the bay to shelter as it needs to round Lands End to go to Ayr
Not easy walking along the path today
Windblown waves right out at Maen-dhu Point

We were both following this body boarder

Nice wave
Bit windy for sitting on the seats
Tilly negotiating her way around the large puddles
and through this tricky bit
I think she would like to put in an official complaint about the conditions she's expected to walk in at her great age
Great to see lots of people down on the beach

Sadly the tide was racing in

Busier and busier
Afternoon walkies with just a glimmer of sun
