Lovely early morning moon
Just before sunrise - first proper frost of the year on the cars and the roof
Last view of the cross on the Church until next Christmas
Saw a splash and there they were - lovely pod of Dolphins
Out beyond Maen-dhu Point
Jim went down towards the beach, but sadly there wasn't any
But the army of surfers were already arriving
Up the track towards Trebarvah
Such a beautiful morning but the wind had gone around to the North East and it was extremely cold
They met puppy Finn
Had a nice run around
Meanwhile I was up at Oamaru, just finishing off and atttempting to clean the windows - think they looked worse when I'd finished than when I started
Numbers of surfers increasing all the time
The village looking as wonderful and serene as always - but hidden from view was the chaos of cars and mainly vans parked all over the place and many of them very badly
Suddenly, there they were again
really leaping
Just beyond The Greeb
I decided that there was no way I was going to attempt to drive back down the lane to home, but was wearing best boots, so couldn't walk down the hill, so walked down to the car park - which wasn't that much better
Must have been bitterly cold out there
Looking like Summer at The Cabin
Still plenty of sand left
Delivery at The Victoria - love the name
Couldn't be any fresher
Afternoon walkies
Some nice colour
Just a glimpse of the sun
Then it was gone
Wooster up on the point
"Does my bum look big in this ?"
Still busy out there
Looking at the village from Trebarvah and if I didn't know better, it looks like a beautiful sunny summer's day.
ReplyDeleteGosh those surfers are hardy. . . great shots.
I keep forgetting to ask, how is your hand healing, Sue? Hope it's almost right again.
It was like a Summers day in more ways than one - the crowds and the sun, but it really was very cold - especially in the NE wind. Hand is much better thanks - just notice it opening jars and screw tops and door handles - but not painfull - thank goodness. Sue
