Friday

Sunshine and showers were the orders for the day
Here comes the next shower - and they were hefty ones !
Much nicer to look East
I went up to Oamaru to de-Christmas and finish the Winter maintenance work that I didn't  manage to do before Christmas due to my hand injury

I think you can see how the day continued
Jim checked the rain radar and decided that he'd just got time to give the dogs a nice walk

Obviously it was very wet everywhere

and the sea was still rather splashy

Low tide at Boat Cove

Messy waves
Well ! the beach has changed a bit but not looking too bad and of course the sand will come back
Huge expanse of stones at the top of the beach

They just got home before the next shower
Super Kestrel - taken through the window at Oamaru Barn
Loved the beady eye

Just small areas of colour
Good to see the netters out in force
Just a flash of colour through the clouds
