Thursday

 Really bitter wind this morning
So just a short trip up and around the spoil heap

and down the path which was running with rain water again
I popped up to Oamaru as the New Year visitors had left
Darn cold and windy up there
Might have to rethink this as it looks like the palm tree has become a plaything for the dogs

Lots of white water but nothing like as wild as the North Coast
I popped into Penzance - took this of Scillonian III in dry dock
Afternoon walkies past this Arum Lilly in St Piran's Way
Good to see one of the boats out netting - been next to no fish since Christmas
Sand in the water
Still some blue sky around

But windier out at Maen-dhu Point

Wooster said "definitely windy"

I have a feeling that the beach will be looking very different when we see it next
