Monday

 The incoming bad weather
At least it was still dry for the morning walkies
Scillonian leaving this morning - must have been a very wet trip as I went into Penzance and it poured with rain the whole time
The wind had got much worse during the afternoon and more dark clouds were looming
Waves were crashing up onto Cudden Point
The wind had really got up and was blasting at the waves

Another shower crossing the bay

Waves out on the reef caused by a big ground swell

We decided that we had enough time to walk the dogs in a dry spell - waves smashing onto The Greeb
In the right light a rough sea looks stunning
Long lines of waves

More wind and rain to come tomorrow - such a pity for the holidaymakers

  1. Love the spindrift and rough seas. Great photos, Sue.
Is the weather warm, hot? Have read about very hot weather in Europe over recent weeks.

  2. Sadly we missed most of the hot weather - we got the mist and murk instead - literally just our end of Cornwall. It evidently has been extremely hot almost everywhere else. Sue
