Turns out there'll be no Summer Break for the trainees at RNAS Culdrose such is the need for more helicopter pilots and crew
The stormy sea had delivered a lot of seaweed
Lots of showers expected again today
Round and round they went all morning and into the afternoon
In the end Maisie gave up and stopped getting up to go outside each time one came past
Distant shot of the Norwegian Search and Rescue Helicopter that is visiting RNAS Culdrose this week whilst the crews receive training by Leonardo Helicopters
Not sure if this Kestrel is Moulting or having a rough time
Trinity House vessel Galatea which was involved in an accident in the bay last night when a local netter caught his prop in the seine net and whilst out of control was blown towards Galatea by the very strong wind. They collided and then Galatea caught her own prop in the net as well. Penlee Lifeboat to the rescue ! They cut the net and pulled the fishing boat away and towed it to Newlyn. Assume Divers have or will clear both of their props and the remaining net has been retrieved from the bay
Not a bad afternoon
Spotted a gig out in the bay
Still some showers around - but this one passed by to the North
After we got home it got much clearer
Jim saw this large group of walking arriving in Perranuthnoe this evening
