Wednesday

Glorious morning and it was forecast to be the best day of the week
We decided to be daring and go for a drive to Penrose for a walk - Jim's first time out of the village since lockdown started
Looking down at the end of the old road that used to go all the way out to Loe Bar

Part of the new path that has been laid

Research/Survey vessel Severn Sea at anchor
Looking back towards Porthleven

Looking back towards Prussia Cove and the top of St Michael's Mount
The Chimneys and Engine Houses of the Trewavas Mine - still clinging on to the edge of the cliffs
Loe Bar
The Loe looking very blue
Container ship Anton Schulte
|Lots of Scarlet Pimpernels along this section
Was quite quiet - we only saw two bikes and these two horses and all the rest were walkers so with the nice wise path it was easy to stay distanced

We had now looped round onto the newest section of path that goes behind the lodge

Life's not so bad when you have a friend

Handsome Stonechat
Looking back to Porthleven as we make our way back to the car
Looking back to the new part of the path - bit steep and slithery on the gravel in places
A run in the field later on
After arriving in Mount's Bay on 22nd April and hanging around for almost a month it's farewell to Anton Schulte now well on her way to Haifa Israel
Sudden very fast and low fly past from this Merlin
