Wednesday - Sue's photos

Lovely start to the day - so typical as my sister had to go home today after 2 storms and lots of showers !
Someone's found a great place to park - don't think she stayed long
We decided to make the most of the fine day and drove to Penrose - I was struck by this unusual long cloud

The Loe - or Loe Pool
We walked through the wood and down to The Stables Cafe for coffee and then back up to re-join the upper path
Suddenly there was a roar and the Hawks were up
Tight turns

All part of a visit to Penrose and they don't phase the dogs at all

Looking back at Helston
The edge of Loe Bar and The coast of The Lizard
Chimneys and engine houses of the Trewavas Mine
Looking past the cattle to Porthleven
We turned to walk back to the car
Think this tree was struck by lightning
As we were leaving that cloud was still there over 4 hours and 13,000 steps later
Some unusual clouds when we got home

Lots of colour after sunset
