Wednesday - Jim's Photos of our day

Scillonian III passing Newlyn
Really super morning

Lots of dashing around

Since it was forecast to be the best weather of the week we decided to head out to Penrose even though it would still be rather busy
Greek Girl Maisie meeting Spanish boy Max - who hasn't been here long - such a lovely little guy

We walked down through the woods to the path that leads down to The Stables Cafe - had a drink and cake then set off again
Unusual to see the cattle right down amongst the Bracken
Wooster exploring as we walked back up to join the higher path
Assume the white birds are some sort of Gull with a flock of Canada Geese arriving

Hawks were doing tight circuits
Looking back to Helston nestling in the hills
Kingair
We walked out to where we could see Mount's Bay

The Engine Houses and Chimneys of the old Trewavas Mine
Over the cattle to Porthleven
Looking over to Tresoweshill
Walking past the barns there were lots of Swallows zooming around - these two are obviously youngsters that will be setting off on their long journey South soon.
