Saturday

Fog was wafting around Mount's Bay, but had descended onto Land's End Airport and stayed there all day

They joined Samsa on the field
Really enjoying herself
Scillonian III setting off
This bird has been shouting rather than singing for days - might be a juvenile
One of the Jet Boats setting off for Scilly having brought in stranded passengers from Scilly.
There were four - Falcon, Raptor, Cyclone and Hurricane and they all did 2 trips today
After a long sunny spell the mist suddenly wafted over the bay

Cudden Point  almost covered. Fortunately it didn't hang around
I've allowed everything in the "Wild Flower Area" to carry on growing this year - just removing weeds
Jim and dogs went to mow - went to mow a meadow !
Maisie being sensible and standing in some shade for a while - the sun was hot and we have been sheltered from the breeze today
Well at least someone got to fly - sadly the Penzance helicopter has "gone technical" so no flights from them.
The fog still not far away
Field not quite finished but looking good
Afternoon walkies up the hill

The Valerian is loving all the sunshine
Isles of Scilly Skybus on it's way from Exeter to St Mary's - the only flying they could do today
I spent a lot of time and energy re-potting this Trachycarpus Palm in the courtyard. It was around 6 inches out of the pot and bone dry. Managed to get it into this large pot and give it plenty of water - looking a bit knocked about - as do I as it's horribly heavy and sharp !
