Friday

Still plenty of swell this morning

and the surfers had arrived early

Playtime with Tess
Glorious blue morning - you can just make out the Lugger Happy Return on the left setting off for Scilly

Lots of friends out and about

Really quite crowded out there

Lots of young Goldfinches zooming around the trees

Another large party of walkers
Waves kept rolling in

Our bush Echium had a bad time this Spring as it was cold and dry, so the flowers are miniatures - but a stunning blue

The surfers had filled the car park and thank goodness someone opened the overflow parking field for the people who were arriving to visit the beach and cafes

Busy busy !
Afternoon walkies with Swallows zooming around - so pleased we have so many this year
Maisie spotted Alan and family up at the top and she hauled Jim up there - amazingly strong little dog !
Hannah and Janice
and Alan - she'll be looking for him in the morning - but sadly they will be on their way home by then
and great to see Nic - back from his travels for a short while
Lovely silvery sea
Some cloud appearing from the NE - we're forecast to have rain and possibly even thunder overnight
