Saturday

Rain arrived overnight and it was damp and cloudy as Jim walked up the hill

If at first you don't succeed try, try, and try again - and it did !
The first of the Hydrangea flowers
The lovely old Brixham Sail Trawler Provident coming out of Penzance to spend the day sailing round and round Mount's Bay
Wind had increased

She's gone back into the wet dock in Penzance now.

In the meantime Scillonian III was on her way back from her first of two trips to Scilly when there was a distress call from a dinghy that had a problem with their rudder. Scillonian diverted to stan-by the vessel until the Sennen Lifeboat arrived on scene to take the two sailors on board and tow their dinghy back to Sennen. This made Scillonian rather late arriving in Penzance and she still had another trip to Scilly to do. Unfortunately the low cloud and mizzle caused there to be no flying for part of the afternoon.

Afternoon walkies past happy bunnies
Really rather miserable up there

Maisie was enjoying the cooler weather
Flying tonight !
Those pesky Swallows are around again
