Wednesday

Just a few from Jim's morning walk - really horrible out there with a really strong, cold wind

A little later I went down to The Range and the wind was really violent - saw a lady chasing a wheelchair across the car park - fortunately no one in it! As I drove home the rain arrived and that was it for the rest of the afternoon - we had a really violent squall line come past - never seen so much water pouring off the pool-house roof like a waterfall and running down onto the lawn. The rain still didn't stop, so the dogs were just taken down to the garden during a brief lull. I managed to push the wheelie bin up the drive and come back for the re-cycling but got wet on the way back. Still raining now - pity it's not all running into the reservoirs which are nearly empty
