Monday

Really horrid day - right from the start - thick fog and mizzle so Jim took the dogs to the field

The day went from bad to worse when this rain arrived. It was torrential - bouncing off the balcony floor
Imagine our surprise when these guys turned up - in torrential rain on a Bank Holiday with no telephone call beforehand to remove the scaffolding.  Had to race around moving furniture, putting down the rugs so that they could walk through the house - again !
Sad that we didn't get a sighting of this very modern cruise ship Greg Mortimer that came in from Scilly, This photo from a friend Marcia who lives near Newlyn
Suddenly the rain stopped and we could see for miles and there was the Greg Mortimer leaving for Lundy Island

Unusual clouds - hoping for slightly better weather tomorrow
