Jim's photos taken in and around Porthleven on RNLI Lifeboat Day

Wooster looking rather tired so Maisie keeping watch for "invaders"

Bit of a bounce as they turned in to The Harbour entrance

Suddenly the Penlee Inshore Lifeboat appeared - a lot earlier than we had expected

It was so very busy and noisy, so since we knew we had a long time to wait for the Lifeboat we walked back out to the coast and sat on a seat

We ended up sitting at The Harbour Inn with drinks - really pleasant

Hmm ! Jim bought himself a Crab Sandwich from here and we then walked around the Harbour to find something for me Sadly Jim has suffered overnight - pity as he enjoyed the sandwich

A days hire of this Morgan was one of the prizes in the raffle
This super view, so often seen in stormy shots
Such a super bird - looking right at us

Tide was still well down
How on earth this Engine House is still standing, goodness knows
The amazing engine house & chimney of part of the Trewavas Mine
As we walked up to the coastal footpath to give the dogs a nice break, the grey clouds moved on and there was sunshine and blue sky
Early on and it was rather grey and windy at times
Cornwall Air Ambulance on its way in, to land in upper Porthleven.  They can be seen on Quest TV on Fridays at 9pm in Cornwall Air 999 - such amazing work that they do.
