Yes, you've guessed it, after our walk out to Zennor Head, we stopped off at The Tinners Arms for a bite of lunch, Jim had his favourite half pint of prawns as always !
Love the way the ferns grow in the smallest of gaps in the wall.
We then continued along the road towards St Ives, finding four more lost dog signs, making 40 in two days phew ! The only ones left are possibly some in St Ives as there was a local dog mistakenly reported early in the sad search !
So sorry to hear the sad news. You have done a great job to help in the way you did.
ReplyDeleteI loved your photos today, especially. My great grandparents were married at Pendeen in 1854 having been born at Trewellard and Carnyorth. They set sail for Australia very soon after.
Betty, also meant to say that we've had to tell many, many people of the sad end to Dash's disappearance, but I still get a lump in my throat each time ! We'd like to think that if something like that happened to one of our dogs, others would do the same for us. Sue
DeleteHello, Betty, strangely, I said to Jim today, that the walk we must do is Pendeen to Portheras Cove on the coastal footpath, - struggled last year as knee was too painful - now with new one, it should be as a friend of ours says "a piece of cake" Sue
