First thing this morning and there were more lovely Cauliflowers heading for market - and I know they are lovely 'cause Tim gave us one and it was superb with white sauce & Lamb Shank
Wondered
what on earth was going on - tapping on a window - dogs and me getting
very annoyed as couldn't find what was happening - then spotted this,
in the small window in the dining room - Gull was standing on the garden
room roof - hope it doesn't expect to be fed ! !
The flag flying today for the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II
Rather a cool grey morning
Wooster and Tilly were ambushed at the bottom of the path
But brave Wooster led the way - as he realised that they were Sarah's (Kernewek Ky Professional Dog Grooming) dogs and he knew they were all noise ! They had a lovely play together
No more running about on these National Trust fields - looks like they might be coming back into use !
Another big beach
Even Murphy was having a good time !
Sadly more work needed by the Historic Mining and Remediation Specialists - they have to dig down around 20ft - looking for a hole!
This afternoon walkies and we saw the lovely little deaf cat in the window
We walked up towards Ednovean in the grey afternoon
As we walked alongside the horse fields, we were being watched by Magic - one of Danni's offspring and he's looking more and more like him - and really tall now
The Narcissi are almost finished now, but these are lovely
Thought I knew what this was, but I don't !
Captured the "beacon" on St Michael's Mount on the Mount's Bay Sailing Club's webcam - we had hoped to go, but decided it wasn't going to be a "spectacle" when we saw the size of the fire basket !

Mmmm, could be Honesty or Sweet Rocket perhaps. We have a gull doing exactly the same thing, apparently they can see their reflection in the glass and think they have found a mate. Not sure that this correct, but it always happens at this time of year. Thanks once again for the Wonderful photo's.
ReplyDeleteI thought the same about the gull - but it had another by it's side - getting really annoying as the dogs keep hearing it and barking Grrr !
DeleteI think the plant is Honesty - must have escaped ! Sue
Think it's Honesty too.We have bluetits and long tailed tits doing the same thing, it takes you by surprise ! There wasn't much of a 'spectacle ' at Windsor either ! the Queen had gone by the time it got going !Super photo's.Thanks Sue for all your time and effort.macca.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the flowers appearing - although checking the blog last year they are a long way behind - been so cold here - back to big Winter coats & hats and as you can see the dogs have their coats on again - and they're saying it's going to get colder - oh dear ! It's the Gig World Champs next weekend - hope the weather improves a bit. Sue
