Saturday

The flag of St Piran flying above St Piran & St Michael's Church

Scillonian III backing out of Lighthouse Pier
Off she goes
This afternoon we walked up to Trebarvah to take a look at the work that is going on up there
The area that they dug up to lay the electricity cable is full of broken bottles and I was concerned a lively dog might dash down there, so I asked the workmen if they could block it off for the weekend - and they did - really kind
Part-way down the track they have had to come out to the other side of the hedge as the field is in use and permission was refused
Amazing to see how much land was hidden behind the huge hedge

An area of rain arrived later with  some unusual colours in the sky and sea
