8.30am and it was looking lovely
High cloud in both directions
By 9.30am and the cloud had covered most of the blue sky
After the serious bashing the Hydrangeas got in the winds gusting over 70mph a few weeks I though I'd take some photos of them. They are mostly leaning forward due to the sheer weight of the blossom
The one to the right was the one that was badly affected
This one has now gone pink
The other side of the front door - again almost pink now
Some lovely Lidl Lavender from last year
Early afternoon walkies as we had booked to go to The Victoria for dinner
We had a lovely meal at The Victoria - now that they have a slightly larger menu and the staff were very friendly and welcoming - sadly Jim had been feeling a little "off" late in the afternoon, but took a tablet and hoped he would be OK
Heard this helicopter hovering behind Cudden Point as we headed home - unfortunately Jim gradually got worse - after having a sleep on the sofa he got up and felt unbalanced and struggled to walk to the bathroom. I hasten to add this was nothing to do with the meal at The Victoria - probably the Crayfish Tails he had the night before.
He's been so bad overnight and this morning that the super Dr Killeen came to see him as he still can't move without being poorly - Labarynthitis they assume. So he has some medication and we'll see how it goes.
Do hope Jim is feeling better..really nasty I have had it off and on for several years.macca.Your Hydrangeas are superb!!!
ReplyDeleteYes The medication seems to be working anf Jim can sit up without any ill effects - or the dizzy head ! Managed to nag him into sipping more water as well. Sue
